Have you heard that Kristie Kelly, a couture bridal gown designer, has teamed up with Costco to design a collection of gowns to sell exclusively in their stores? Is it true? Yes it is!

We are seeing more and more bridal designers teaming up with other companies to make their products more accessible to brides. Other partnerships in the news are... Vera Wang has teamed up with David's Bridal and Alfred Angelo has partnered up with Disney.

The Kristie Kelly Signature Collection of wedding dresses will consist of six designs exclusively sold only at Costco. The designs are beautiful simple classic lines, in styles that will flatter most body types. You will not find these wedding gowns in every Costco store, because they are only being sold at selected stores.

Even though the pairing of bridal gowns and Costco may seem a bit unusual, this may benefit you if you are a bride on a budget, and are not into the whole bridal salon shopping experience. It has been said that the gowns will be sold at a substantial savings off the suggested retail prices. But you will most likely have to do your own leg work when it comes to finding someone to do your wedding dress alterations and finding the accessories, such as your shoes, slips, jewelry and veil.

Costco is certainly not the place you would think of when it comes to buying a gown by a couture designer, but if the quality is there and the price is right... Costco and Kristie may have a winning combination. Only time will tell!
